Kilkenny is known nationwide for its vibrant food and hospitality offering, from food festivals, to a weekly farmers market and county wide food trails, cookery schools and the special dining experiences offered by the many fine eateries that regularly receive critical acclaim and national attention.
Thanks to this, it should be no surprise that the City and County are now vying for the top foodie destination in Ireland.
Spearheading participation is Kilkenny Tourism who will showcase the county’s vast array of local food producers, brewers and distillers along
with the regular programme of foodie themed events such as Savour Kilkenny and the Kilkenny Food Trail that form an essential part of Kilkenny’s festival and events calendar.
The online voting is now open and will run up until August 20th. Get behind the county’s campaign and participate in the online voting so Kilkenny can be the number 1 foodie destination in Ireland.
