Who are we?
Purcell Masterson Public Relations, a leading PR and Communications agency based in Kilkenny City is seeking to recruit a creative and ambitious individual with a flair for communications and media.
Boasting an impressive client list of some of Ireland’s best known brands and businesses, this is an exciting opportunity for a motivated candidate to become an integral part of our agency and new ‘Front of House’ practice which will focus on expanding into the lifestyle, food and hospitality sectors.
Our new junior account executive will play an important role within the agency supporting senior account managers. This is a full time vacancy.
Qualifications:
- Previous PR Agency experience desirable, but not essential, for the right individual
- Relevant Diploma or Third level Qualification
Our ideal team member will have:
- Excellent writing, editing and communication skills – An ability to write to media and other marketing materials such as press releases, pitch letters, digital content and media coverage reports.
- An understanding of the Irish media landscape
- Track record of securing media coverage
- Team player who is capable of working independently
- A common sense and solution focused mind-set
- An exceptional work ethic
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Capable of working under pressure
Duties:
- Drafting and editing content and press materials
- Social and digital media management
- Add creative input for traditional and digital PR campaigns
- Support for senior account managers
Salary:
Negotiable dependent on experience.
