‘Get Fitted for Christmas’ with Belle Femme Lingerie and Brendan Courtney
Belle Femme Lingerie Boutique is hosting their ‘Get Fitted for Christmas’ style evening with RTE’s Brendan Courtney in a fun and festive lingerie showcase on Thursday, November 27th at the Rivercourt Hotel in Kilkenny City.
Ladies are invited to come along and enjoy a glass of mulled wine, while taking in a fashion show of the latest designs in lingerie-wear for the festive season.
Brendan Courtney of RTE’s Off The Rails fashion programme will be hosting the event and offering guests advice and style tips on dressing to impress for Christmas party nights.
Proprietor of Belle Femme Lingerie, Bridget Kearney will also be available for lingerie fitting and there will be several fitting rooms on site for those who wish to ‘get fitted for Christmas’!
Models will be showcasing the best of what Belle Femme Lingerie has to offer this season and guests will have opportunities to win lots of spot prizes throughout the evening including afternoon tea for four at Lyrath Estate and €100 voucher for Best Dressed Lady.
Bridget Kearney, Proprietor of Belle Femme Lingerie says, “I am very excited about the ‘Get Fitted for Christmas’ event. This is our biggest event by far this year and we hope that everyone will come along and enjoy a glass of mulled wine, while getting their style tips from Brendan Courtney and their lingerie advice from me. Unfortunately, I still see over 80% of women wearing ill-fitting lingerie every day and at this event I want to highlight what a difference it makes when one is correctly fitted for lingerie. My models on the night will clearly illustrate the benefits with before and after styling, and I hope that this will encourage every woman to get properly fitted!” she said.
Bridget Kearney opened Belle Femme Lingerie on Kieran Street in Kilkenny just over 3 and a half years ago and since then has been fitting women in beautiful lingerie from all over the country. People travel from far and wide to experience her ‘fitting without tape’ approach to lingerie and Bridget is a firm believer that the female form is not static and therefore cannot be measured with a tape.
Bridget has been expertly trained in the UK by one of a handful of people worldwide with a Masters Research degree in bra design and manufacture. Her services are unique as she believes that the only way to fit lingerie correctly is by eye.
“Women are constantly surprised by their figures when they are correctly fitted for their lingerie. I always say, that women should dress for their size and not for the clothes. You must work your wardrobe around your figure and not the other way around. The most stylish women are perfectly fitted in their clothes and when you are well fitted – size does not matter. I chose the name Belle Femme Lingerie as I believe that every women deserves to feel beautiful. Well-chosen, expertly-fitted lingerie can achieve this no matter what shape you are.”
Guests on the night will be treated to bespoke goodie bags, mulled wine, mince pies, Hor d’Ourves, and lots of fun competitions with spot prizes. There will be 10% discount off any purchases made on the night and a full staff will be working to accommodate those wishing to be fitted for free with no obligation to buy.

The event is free of charge and kicks off from 6pm – 9pm on Thursday November 27th at the Rivercourt Hotel.
