Festive Christmas Party Nights at La Rivista
La Rivista, Kilkenny’s premier Italian restaurant has launched its new Christmas menu and wine list for the Christmas party season, which kicks off this weekend in the restaurant in the heart of medieval Kilkenny.
La Rivista has been adorned in festive decorations to welcome Christmas party revellers to the restaurant and inject a large dose of festive fun into any Christmas gathering.
Early diners will be greeted with a smile and a free glass of Prosecco as they are led to their table and presented with a Christmas menu with no less than 10 main course options and five starters and desserts making it the perfect venue for larger parties.
The recently revitalised wine cellar at La Rivista has been stocked to bulging point with the new selection of wines on offer, which will delight the most discerning wine connoisseur or regular punter on a night out with friends and colleagues.
Festive foods include roast parsnip and chestnut soup, Irish smoked salmon and prawn salad, Turkey escalope roulade, oven-roasted Barbary duck and a festive favourite, warm apple and berry crumble.
Chef, Therese Maguire commented, “We have taken great care to get our Christmas menu just right this year. We have lots of regular clients and we know what they want. We can cater well for larger parties with the extensive menu that we have on offer and our staff are on hand to pass on any dietary requirements that diners might have as we pride ourselves in dealing ably with gluten-free and dairy-free cuisine,” says Therese.
The La Rivista Christmas offering includes the hugely popular Wine and Dine menu from Monday – Thursday with lots of festive options for €59 for two, along with the two course Christmas menu on Friday– Sunday at €22.95 or three courses for €26.95. Midweek offers are even less at €19.95 and €24.95 for two and three courses respectively.
La Rivista is offering a different wine special every night to coincide with the launch of their new wine list and gift vouchers are also available as Christmas gift ideas. A free glass of Prosecco will be offered to every diner seated at an early sitting before 6.30pm.
