
Sally Leadbetter has worked as a PR Consultant with Purcell Masterson since 2014. Rooted in tourism, craft and heritage, Sally joined the team having previously worked at her family’s craft business, Jerpoint Glass Studio and in the hospitality sector. With experience gained from more than twenty years in marketing and communications roles across a variety of industries, including retail, craft manufacturing, hospitality and tourism, she brings a breadth of expertise to her role.
Working closely with clients to develop strategic campaigns which are aligned with their commercial, reputation and community objectives and goals, her clients include household names such as Family Carers Ireland, Chamber of Commerce and Petmania. Sally has designed and executed successful traditional PR campaigns for clients including Crover House Hotel, Food the Waterford Way, Chef Gearoid Lynch and Ristorante Rinuccini, and developed digital strategy for clients such as Savour Kilkenny and technology specialists, SL Controls plus liaised on website development for Chef Shane Smith among others. Career highlights include co-producing the Kilkenny Business Awards with John Masterson, developing a craft tourism experience and attending ‘Meitheal’, appearing on QVC home shopping channel and finalising in the Blog Awards Ireland.

Sally sits on the Executive Board, the school patron body, of the Kilkenny School Project National School under the umbrella of Educate Together. She has previously been a board member of Kilkenny Tourism and a volunteer with the Thomastown School of Food. Sally holds a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the Digital Marketing Institute (DMI) and an Executive PA Diploma with Marketing and PR from Genesis Business College.
