Fall for Kilkenny this Autumn

Michelin starred chef shortlisted at Pembroke Kilkenny

There is lots to celebrate this Autumn at Pembroke Kilkenny. Stathams Bar and Restaurant has launched its new Autumn menu showcasing the best local produce carefully prepared by its newly appointed Michelin-starred Executive Chef, Ken Harker. Ken Harker, Executive Chef, and Stathams by Pembroke Kilkenny have been shortlisted for a Food & Wine Restaurant of the Year Awards. Stathams are in the running for Best Casual Dining Leinster, whilst Ken Harker is shortlisted for the Best Chef award.

The four-star boutique hotel has launched a series of autumn/winter breaks for those looking to satisfy their taste buds, get some RnR and take in the beautiful medieval city of Kilkenny.
The new menu draws inspiration from local autumnal fare and features seasonal treats like Ham Hock Terrine with pickled mushrooms, cider gel and sourdough crisps.  For hearty comfort food, braised pig cheeks accompanied by Jerusalem artichokes, apple and black pudding granola or Ging family-farm sirloin steak served with roasted kale onion puree and beef jus. Wake up refreshed to the best of locally sourced award-winning produce. Waffles and bacon, smoked trout kedgeree or a full Irish breakfast, with delicious Cloud Picker coffee, will set you up for more adventure in Kilkenny.

For guests’ comfort and safety, Statham’s has expanded its dining areas, introduced additional indoor ventilation systems and opened a sleek new outdoor courtyard for a cosy al fresco dining experience. Pembroke Kilkenny has reduced touchpoints throughout the property, and hotel guests can navigate from reception to the bedroom completely hands-free.
